The Pilot Point High School Band performed at the Region 24 UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest at Centennial High School in Frisco on April 8, 2009. The band received First Division Ratings in both the Concert and Sight-Reading contests which earned them the Sweepstakes Award for the 2008-09 year.
